On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th Month of the year 1918 the war to end all wars ended. Armistice day became a day to recognize the accomplishment of the end of the first World War and remember all of the brave servicemen who assisted in that triumph. As we all know that was not the war to end all wars and in the aftermath of World War II and the Korean War the 11th of November became a day to recognize all Veterans of all conflicts and times. The United States has been in numerous conflicts since that time and today is the day that we all pause to recognize the sacrifice of our service members.
VetPride’s patriotic roots stem from our CEO, my Father and Vietnam Veteran, Roger Pierce. He influenced and shaped my love for this country, and its service members. I want to take this time today to say thank you to all of our veterans. We are eternally grateful for your sacrifice.
Also, thank you to all of our staff that supports our military and veterans. Without those who support our military, the mission of keeping America safe would be a vastly more challenging task.
